Watermelon Aperol Spritz Cocktail
Serves 6
Ice cubes made with fresh watermelon and the vibrant, citrus Italian liqueur Aperol make this refreshing drink for warm weather.
Ingredients
- 1 cup seedless watermelon chunks
- 1 cup Aperol
- One 750-mL bottle prosecco, cava or sparkling wine
- 6 thin orange slices
Directions
- 1In a blender, blend watermelon and Aperol until completely blended. Pour watermelon-Aperol mixture into ice cube trays and freeze.
- 2To serve, place 3-4 watermelon-Aperol ice cubes in a white wine glass and top with prosecco. Garnish with an orange slice.
- 3Always drink responsibly.
